Tessellation Bibliography

This section contains a growing list of books about tessellations. The following are highly reccommended:

• Tilings and Patterns: An Introduction by Grunbaum and Shepherd.
• Designing Tesselations: The Secrets of Interlocking Patterns by Jinny Beyer

This book is not about tessellations, but I have an article about them in it.

• Origami3: Third International Meeting of Origami Science, Math and Education, 2001

This book is a little old fashioned but has some good explanations of how to create new tilings with a variety of methods. Also contains some nice rotationally symmetric tilings..

• Mosaic and Tessellated Patterns by John Wilson
